The Prime Group celebrated the launch of Prime Electrical Manufacturing's dedicated Automation and Controls division today. Based in Dubai with their existing Power Distribution infrastructure, PEM Automation and Controls will take over the control elements of PEM's discrete control; panels which form a substantial proportion of their business, and will expand their automation capabilities into distributed system control.

PEM's Automation and Controls division has already completed the successful design, fabrication, testing and commissioning of the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning system for DEWA's first Dubai Metro Project dedicated substation. PEM also undertook management and coordination of the HVAC system to ensure the project was commissioned within the limits set by the DEWA substations, and is hoping to ensure more of the projects control systems as the network develops
